Anwesha - Quest for the best 2017

'Anwesha - Quest for the best' is a unique initiative by the Indira Sivasailam Foundation that aims to bridge the gap between Carnatic artists and rasikas. It provides a platform for Carnatic music aficionados to interact with the winner of the year's Indira Sivasailam Endowment Medal - Lalgudi Krishnan and Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi. Organized as an interactive Q&A session, 30 participants get the unique opportunity of presenting a question on Carnatic music to the Lalgudi duo, who then answer it.

Carnatic music enthusiasts are invited to send in their questions on Carnatic music to The Indira Sivasailam Foundation's Facebook page (facebook.com/theISfoundation) inbox or by emailing them to info@isfoundation.in. The top 30 finalists will be shortlisted by the contest jury from The Music Academy, Madras. The contest is open for all till September 13, 2017.
